Laser Therapy

Living in sunny, beautiful Colorado can definitely have an impact on your skin. Our Colorado high desert environment can be very dry, and Boulder’s elevation can increase the risk of sun damage. Together these influences can increase the signs of aging. Fortunately, we have laser therapies like Halo, IPL, Profractional, and MicroLaser peels to help repair your skin, reverse sun damage and the signs of aging.

Our advanced skin analysis system, the Reveal Camera facial scanning system, can help identify facial areas that would benefit from treatment. Using different light filters, this system can see what is going on underneath your skin’s surface to help better understand the need for different types of therapies.

Your safety is our top priority. Dr. Goldman and his team have developed specific treatment protocols to fit your specific skin type to maximize safety while still obtaining therapeutic results.

HALO

HALO is the world’s first, and only hybrid fractional laser. We are proud to be one of the highest volume Halo practices in the whole state of Colorado year after year. Our patients love the Halo laser because it delivers both ablative and non-ablative treatment to different levels of the skin in a single pass, providing ablative therapy, with non-ablative downtime. HALO maximizes your results while reducing your recovery time, perfect for your active Boulder lifestyle!!

What You Need to Know

Forever Young BBL

Your BBL treatments work to remove sun damage, and improve your skin’s overall appearance on your face, chest, neck, arms, or hands. Typically treatments are performed in a series of 3-4 treatments, 4-8 weeks apart to maximize the benefits.

By using a cooling plate while it delivers its laser energy, BBL creates a targeted response deep in your skin’s tissues, minimizing any trauma to the skin surface. The result is an extremely effective treatment with virtually no recovery time.

BBL/IPL/Fotofacial therapy is often combined with other skin treatments (Halo, Profractional therapy, MicroLaser Peel, or Microneedling) to provide more dramatic, faster results, and can be done on specific areas of the face or body.

What You Need to Know

ProFractional Therapy

Profractional laser skin treatment is a fractional laser therapy that targets your skin’s collagen layers. Profractional therapy is ideally suited to reverse the signs of aging. This innovative laser treatment effectively targets collagen in your skin to diminish wrinkles, fine lines, and scars, and helps improve skin laxity to give you younger-looking, thicker and more vibrant skin.

Profractional therapy is often combined with other laser therapies (MicroLaser Peel, or BBL/IPL/Fotofacial) to provide more dramatic, faster results, and can be done on specific areas of the face or body.

  • What you need to know

Profractional laser therapy takes about 30-45 minutes to perform, depending on the area to be treated. A numbing cream is applied prior to the treatment to make the procedure more comfortable. After the treatment, the skin is gradually cooled and moisturized.

  • Redness and swelling are common after a Profractional laser procedure and can take anywhere from 1-2 days and up to a week to subside depending on the depth and intensity of the therapy. Patients may also notice unusual warmth to the area for the first day after the procedure.
  • For best results, we recommend combining your Profractional treatment with an application of PRP (platelet rich plasma). Some refer to this combination as a “Vampire Facial.” Adding PRP helps to further stimulate your collagen to improve results, while also promoting faster healing.
  • Over the course of the first week after a Profractional treatment, your skin will go through some changes as it begins repairing and restoring your collagen layers. You can then expect to see gradual improvements to your collagen and skin over the next 3-6 months!

Micropeel Laser

The MicroLaser Peel by Sciton sets the standard for ablative skin resurfacing. The MicroLaser Peel is a laser skincare treatment that creates smoother, tighter and more youthful skin by precisely and uniformly removing, or “ablating” the dull and damaged outermost layers of your skin.

MicroLaser Peel can treat fine lines and wrinkles, produce new collagen, and treat texture and surface irregularities in your skin to provide a softer, smoother, tighter feeling skin.
